Sara’s Pumpkin Butter German Streusel Cake

Sara’s tasty “Pumpkin Butter German Streusel Cake” recipe is a exceptionally tasty treat to be included at your Holiday gatherings that will truly impress your family and friends.It won’t last long once it is served! This recipe is sure to bring many compliments your way!

Grease & flour tube, bundt or 9 X 13 pan. Preheat oven 350.

Cream: ½ lb. butter
1 cup sugar
Add: 3 eggs
2 ½ cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
1 cup sour cream
6 oz. pumpkin butter
1 tsp vanilla
Filling: ½ cup nuts
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Take 1/2 cake mixture & spread in prepared pan.
Spread ½ nut mixture over cake then spread with remaining cake batter.
Top with nut mixture.

Bake for 1 hour or until done.

To serve: top with vanilla bean ice cream & drizzled pumpkin butter

Rhuberry-Licious Jam Stick Cookies

Since many of you look for extraordinary recipes especially for the Holiday Season, Sara has a suggestion for “Jam Stick Cookies” using our “Rhuberry-Licious Jam. These tasty treats are exceptional and will make a great appetizer and desert for your New Years celebrations and entertaining!!

Mix: 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond extract

Blend in: 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar

If dough is too soft to handle, cover & chill about 1 hour.

Heat oven to 375. Divide dough into 12 equal parts; on lightly grease baking sheet, shape each part into rectangle, 8×1&1/2 inches. With wooden spoon handle, make a furrow lengthwise down center of each rectangle. Spread 1 teaspoon Golden Harvest Acres Rhuberry-Licious Jam in furrow.

Bake about 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes. If desired, cut warm cookies diagonally into 1 inch slices. Remove to wire racks. When cool, drizzle with Confectioner’s Sugar Icing.

Confectioner’s Sugar Icing
Mix 2 cups confectioners’ sugar & 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon milk until smooth.
